Subprocessors

Last updated: July 24, 2026

A subprocessor is a third party we engage to process personal data on our behalf while providing Port Zero. This page lists every subprocessor currently in use, what it does for us, and where it processes data. It is referenced from our Privacy Policy and our Data Processing Addendum, and we keep the three documents in sync.

Subprocessor Purpose Processing location
DigitalOcean Application hosting, database, and log storage United States (nyc3 region)
Stripe Payment processing, billing, and invoicing United States
SendGrid Transactional email (verification codes, account notices) and optional marketing email United States
PostHog Product analytics and error tracking, loaded only after you accept analytics cookies United States
Cloudflare DNS for our domains Global anycast network
GitHub OAuth sign-in and identity verification United States

Where a subprocessor processes personal data of individuals in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, that transfer is covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), as described in our Privacy Policy.

We will update this page before adding a new subprocessor or materially changing an existing one. If you want to be notified of changes, email legal@portzero.net.
